Acoma positions the Caribbean as a fluid and interconnected cultural landscape linking island and diasporic voices through memory, orality, and collective exchange.
The identity system replaces the “O” with five interlinked circles, forming a recurring symbol of connection and continuity. A restrained typographic system combines contemporary sans-serif forms with subtle references to archival printed matter.
Applied across posters, editorial matter, and print, the system balances negative space, archival imagery, and minimal composition to create an identity rooted in both memory and modernity.
